Every year, Bulls For Kids (BFK) hosts Fraternity & Sorority Week, previously known as Greek Week, to unite all four councils on campus as well as raise money and awareness for Shriners Hospitals for Children - Tampa. Fraternity & Sorority Week is exclusive to fraternities and sororities, but USF students are more than welcome to attend the dodgeball tournament and talent show as a spectator. Fraternity & Sorority Week will take place from October 8-11, 2018.

 

The events planned for Fraternity & Sorority Week:

October 8- Sports Night: Dodgeball Tournament

• Location: Campus Rec North Gym

• When: Tournament will start at 7pm

• To register, it will be $5 per person for up to 10 people. If you have 15 people, the last five are free to play. Chapters can combine if they do not meet the minimum of 5 people to make a team. To register a dodgeball team or send a representative for your chapter, contact Caroline Morgan at bfkspecialevent@gmail.com. The deadline to register a team is September 24th.

• On the day of the tournament, teams or representatives should arrive at 6:30 pm to check in. Spectators can arrive beginning at 6:45 pm.

• No entry fee for spectators.

October 9- Bull Market & Giveback Night

• Bull Market

  • Check-in at our Bull Market table to receive points for your team, purchase FTK tank top to represent Fraternity & Sorority Life, and buy Talent Show Tickets.

• Giveback Night

  • Location: Portillos

  • When: 5-8p

  • When ordering your food, tell the cashier that you are there for the Bulls For Kids fundraiser and make sure you get a receipt! Once you have gotten your food, head over to the BFK table to turn in your receipt and check-in with us to get Spirit Points.

October 10- Jessie’s Talent Show

• Location: Oval Theater

• When: 7-9pm

• Ticket Prices: $5 presale at Bull Market on October 3rd and October 10th and $7 at the door

• Interested in performing your talent? Contact Caroline Morgan at bfkspecialevent@gmail.com before September 24, 2018. There is a maximum of 12 slots available and these slots will be given on a first come first serve basis.

October 11- Closing Ceremonies: Light Up the Night

• Location: MSC Ballroom

• When 7-10pm

• Come celebrate the end of Fraternity & Sorority Week at our closing ceremonies! This neon night will consist of food and dessert, as well as music playing by Bulls Radio. In addition, the Fraternity & Sorority Week Winner from each council will be announced at the end as well as the amount of money raised for the entire week. You will also have the opportunity to hangout with some of your awesome Kid Captains!

• Interested in representing your chapter? You can choose to perform in our Step & Stroll during Closing Ceremonies. Your chapter can prepare and perform a step or stroll routine to really showcase your organization! If interested in this, contact  bfkfsrecruitment@gmail.com with your music file by September 24, 2018. Steps & Strolls cannot exceed two minutes.
